How about your own daily deal site – daily deal builder

In  a previous post I talked about what I didn’t like about daily deal sites. Now I have found

dail deal site getsocio

Could you use a daily deal builder for your own daily deals?

a web company that specialises in a DIY daily deal builder. That’s right, you can  make your own deal site by the use of a Getsocio daily deal template!

If you are like me and a DIYer, you’ve set up your own website and/or social media sites. Or even if you didn’t set the sites up you know how to add products etc via your websites back end, then you use the software.

And what do I like about it the most? It’s so cheap. Even if I fail miserably, or if it takes along time to get established, it doesn’t matter so much with this daily deal builder. At the very least it could be a way to clear excess stock, and at it’s best, a great way to build a bigger customer base. The first month is free, so you can play around to your hearts content. Then at US$15.00 a month it’s not a big deal if you don’t use it. There is also a ‘success’ fee payable when you make sales at 5%, again not too big of a deal. It’s manageable. Oh, and there are other sites where you can create your own daily deal platform, but Getsocio offers good value., and an easy cancellation policy.

From what I have seen there is a high emphasis by Getsocio to provide an easy to use daily deal platform which is growing from the needs of it’s users. Judging by the website ‘ask and you shall receive’ seems to be it’s mantra.

Lets face it, daily deals often mean a loss or break even, so if we can mitigate the losses then this just might help our businesses. That is if we use it in the right way and also if it doesn’t take us away from work tasks that will increase the profitability of the business. And that is an issue right now. There is so much that we are told to do to keep ahead of the game. We have our website,  our facebook fan page, twitter, pinterest, stumble upon etc all demanding our time in order to bring us more customers. Should we add another web based channel to worry about? Of course we could pay someone to manage the site for us, as long as there is some sort of return.

Whatever you decide is up to you, it’s your business. But if having your own daily deal site sounds good to you check out the daily deal builder, it’s costs nothing to view and could get you thinking.

Thanks to DailyDealMedia.com for getting me thinking about this daily deal template opportunity GetSocio.

Very interesting and good and useful information about creating our own daily deal. I never heard about Getsocio, so I’m learning new things all the time. Thanks for the tips!

What a cool idea! Thanks for sharing about the daily deal builder.

  3. This is a GREAT idea. I’ve participated in Groupon and Living Social but I only get 25% of my value, which is under my cost, so I can’t afford to do this often. But running MY OWN daily deals – what a cool idea! Thanks so much for sharing.

Yes Stacey, it makes allot of sense to me, also you may be able to work in with some other complementary businesses as well!

  4. So Amanda…have you started using it for your shoe store? You could probably do some fun stuff with it.

    • Amanda says:

I have out this on my ‘to do’ list. We are moving into winter here in the southern hemisphere which means the busiest time of the year for me….so I’ll look further into it in a couple of months 🙂

I have a daily deals fanpage, and this makes me want to get back into it. Thanks!
